Event » Jack Hadley Black History Museum Celebrates Blue Star Museums 2017

The Jack Hadley Black History Museum is one of more than 2,000 museums across America to offer free admission to military personnel and their families from Memorial Day through Labor Day in collaboration with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and the Department of Defense. The JHBHM is extending the program to include First Responders (Police Officers, Sheriff Deputies, Firefighters, Paramedics and Rescuers).  The Jack Hadley Black History Museum now holds more than 4,773 African American artifacts with emphasis on Thomasville’s First Black Achievers, state and national achievers that commemorate their lives and accomplishments.
