Relay for Life ~ Thanksgiving Turkey Sale

The Living Proof Cancer Support Group Team for Relay for Life will be selling Thanksgiving Turkeys to help raise funds for their organization.  The price for each turkey is $30 each or 2 for $50.00.  Turkeys are FRIED or SMOKED.  Your order needs to be in before or no later than November 24th.  Pick up on November 25th at 118 Crimson Circle.

Afternoon at Birdsong

Sunday, November 15th, 2009
 1 PM – 5 PM ~ 
 No Charge for Non-members!

 Music, Food, Hayrides and Raffle!   A free event for members and the public to enjoy getting outside for some fresh air, restful scenery, and the company of fellow nature enthusiasts before the onrush of holiday obligations.
There will be string music by Steve Hodges, Iris  Melton, and Kathy Easterling and Tyler Mauney on the front porch.  Burgers, hot dogs, and bocas will be available for sale, or bring your own picnic. Hayrides and guided nature walks will be offered throughout the afternoon.

The raffle drawing will take place at 4:30pm, so mail in your raffle tickets soon, so we get them by Saturday, or bring them to Birdsong by Sunday at 4:30. Conservation artist Jean Henriksen will be present in the latter part of the day to discuss her paintings. You do not want to miss meeting her!
