Relay for Life ~ Thanksgiving Turkey Sale

The Living Proof Cancer Support Group Team for Relay for Life will be selling Thanksgiving Turkeys to help raise funds for their organization.  The price for each turkey is $30 each or 2 for $50.00.  Turkeys are FRIED or SMOKED.  Your order needs to be in before or no later than November 24th.  Pick up on November 25th at 118 Crimson Circle.

18th Annual Run for Rover

The Thomasville-Thomas County Humane Society (TTCHS) invites you to run and walk for a good cause!  Participate in the 5K Run or the 5K Walk with a 1 Mile Fun Run just for the kids!  The 5K course is USA T&F Certified and takes you through lovely shaded residential streets and gently rolling terrain with a challenging hill at 2.5 miles.  Special awards in a variety of categories with T-shirts for all participants with paid entrance fee.  All proceeds benefit the critical services provided by TTCHS to aid the animals in need in our community.

Time:  Saturday, Registration at 7:00 AM, Race and Walk starts at 8:00 AM
           Fun Run starts at 9:30 AM
Start:  Millpond Rd. and Gordon Ave.

American Cancer Society ~ Thomas County First Annual Bike-A-Thon

Entry Fee:  Early registration $25.  Late Registration $35 (After Nov. 1, 2009). 
Time:  All rides begin at 9AM, Sign-In 7:30A-8:30A
Location:  All rides begin and end at Wilo USA LLC, 86 Genesis Parkway off Plantation Dr.  Rides will loop through beautiful Thomasville.

Rest stops and SAG support provided for all registered riders.  SAG support provided until 2PM.  All riders must sign in/sign out of event.  Bicycle helmets must be worn!
