This fall at the Thomasville Cultural Center, children began a 10-week adventure with the Young Actors Theatre into musical theatre where they were introduced to the Broadway musical hit, Seussical the Musical. The children have explored acting, music and dance styles through this magical, acclaimed show. Seussical the Musical is a show that truly captures Dr. Seuss’s spirit of imagination. Please join us for the performance on Saturday, November 7th at 2 p.m. at the Thomasville Cultural Center. The performance is free to the public.
The Thomasville Cultural Center and Young Actors Theatre have partnered together for a second year to provide the Thomasville area children an opportunity to study and experience drama and musical theatre. The Center is committed to enriching the cultural and artistic life of Thomasville and the surrounding area.
The Thomasville Cultural Center is open Tuesday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm and Saturdays during exhibitions from 1 pm to 5 pm. The Center offers a variety of art exhibitions, music, drama and dance performances as well as classes, workshops and camps in the visual and performing arts.
